| Language: Bulgarian is the official spoken language of Bulgaria although approximately 10% of the population speak Turkish. The Cirillic alphabet, as opposed to the Roman alphabet is used in Bulgaria. In tourist areas however signs are also displayed using the Roman alphabet and a good level of English is spoken. |
