Recife is the main commercial centre and largest city of the North East of Brazil and as a result is served by a number of international airlines.  It is a modern city, with a population of around 3.5 million people.  Boa Viagem is the main city beach and is similar in style to copacabana in Rio.  Boa Viagem is also where the luxury apartment blocks of Recife can be found.   To the South of the city, lies Porto de Galinhas a popular tourist town, which also has a number of quality development properties.
