Brazil

Travel:

Travelling to and around Brazil is easy.  Scheduled flights from the UK to Brazil are operated by British Airways and TAM and go into Sao Paulo.  To the North East of Brazil, there are charter flights direct from the UK operated by Thomson, My Travel and First Choice to Natal and Salvador.  Scheduled services are operated by TAP out of Lisbon.  Flying time from the UK is around 9 hours to Natal, which is the closest entry point in Brazil and around 10 hours to Salvador.   The cheapest way to travel within Brazil is by buying an airpass with TAM.  This entitles you to a set number of flights within a fixed period, for a fixed price, alternatively you can buy individual segments.  The main domestic carriers are TAM and GOL.
